Life Smile Dentists To Give Free Oral Cancer Screening @ Kinnelon Public Library

On Wednesday March 23rd from 630-8, Life Smile Dentistry’s Greg DeVries DMD and Vanessa Lee DMD will be giving free oral cancer screenings on the 2nd floor of the Kinnelon Library.

Oral cancer screenings are designed to catch the early signs of oral cancer before it can progress to a more advanced stage. When found at early stages of development, people with oral cancers have an 80 to 90% survival rate. Unfortunately at this time, the majority of oral cancers are found at late stages, and this accounts for the very high death rate of about 45% at five years from diagnosis.
